I’m Trixie, inspiration and brand ambassador for Dog Love Repeat. Big job, but someone’s gotta do it. It may sound like I’m ungrateful to carry this load on my tiny shoulders. Believe me, I’m not. I know how life could have ended up if I hadn’t been rescued. I take in every day with wonder and glee and I love my family with my whole heart.
We’re big art lovers at Dog Love Repeat and Minneapolis is a BIG art loving town. We just had to check out the newly renovated Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, part of the Walker Art Center, as soon as we had the chance. My favorite new sculpture is not surprising. It’s the “Love” sculpture by Robert Indiana. The artist has stacked the letters in a grid, assembling them, as he stated in 1969, “as compactly and economically as possible.” Now this image has become iconic and is a wonderful bridge across several generations. And we could all use a bit more love in our lives, am I right?
In this post, I’m proudly sporting the Downtown Button-Down Archie Shirt and Downtown Button-Down Trixie Shirt (no, it’s not lost on me that most dogs don’t have a shirt named after them!). We think these crisp, fun printed shirts are a must-have for any dog’s summer wardrobe.
Where are you going this summer? Do you love art and sculpture gardens as much as we do? Drop us a line and tell us all about it at firstname.lastname@example.org
